PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR VISIBILITY Choosing the right mirrors is critical; mirrors that orient vertically, such as the Seizmik Embark Side Mirror, are not visible to the driver. We recommend using a mirror that mounts horizontally. The 10 mm side mirror mount is compatible with various single-bolt mirrors. We tested several of them, but did not test any Seizmik Pursuit-style mirrors.
Our Mirror of Choice: The Tusk Pivot Folding Mirror, is perfect for a machine used in any terrain. This durable mirror is designed to stay in position while riding, but will break away from its original position in the event of an impact to help prevent damage to the mirror.
Our testing included running the mirror into trees at various speeds, which was nothing extreme, but if you wondered why the brackets are made from 1/4'' steel, there's a reason. The A-Pod Brackets' Solid steel construction is designed to withstand the most extreme punishment, allowing the mirror to fold in when hit and return to its original position in one move.
